The Elements of Design are the basic units that make-up the different objects within the design

Line

Colors

Colors set the tone and evoke emotion.


Value

Value refers to the relationship between light and dark.

Space
Positive is the space that is taken up by an object. Negative space is the space around an object.
Negative space is as equally important as positive space.



Texture
Texture is the implied quality of the surface of a graphic.




Form
A form is a three diminsional object




Shape
Shape is the element that stands out from the space around it.
