A brand should be easily recognizable.
I will use Apple as an example:
Apple is the most successful and recognized brand on the planet.
All of their products are innovative and distinctive with cutting edge design.
Apple has topped Fortune's most admired
list for the last three years.
All of Apple's products are recognized instantly. I don't need to tell you that the phone on the left is an Apple product.
Apple pays attention to everything, down to the smallest detail.
Even their packaging is beautiful and is also
patented.

Apple now controls their brand from product conception to the final sale and more. Their stores with their white light and minimal displays have their own aura and are a thing of beauty. The service is impeccable and anyone who has dealt with the Genius Bar will attest to the ease of the tech support. Navigating and shopping for their products online is also always a good experience.
